Anything special I should know about?
For instance: "my grandma made this veil" "my great aunt will be there, and I need a shot of her at the reception," "my parents got married here, and they did this shot"
Any sensitive family situations I should know about?
For instance: deaths, family tension, divorce, disabilities, etc... Are your parents separated, but you still want a photo with just the two of them?
Family Formal Shot List
This will be any grouping you'd like for formal family photos. Every family is unique, so it is super helpful to have a list so we don't forget anyone. Having a list keeps family members from getting frustrated, and helps us move quickly. Each shot will take roughly 2-3 minutes (if everyone is close!). Keeping the list to as few as possible is usually best. Note, we can always snag shots with those distant relatives at the reception!
Example List:
Bride, Groom, Mom, Dad
Bride, Groom, Grandma Betty
Groom, Grandma Betty
Full Bride Side
Etc...
Additional Group Shots
Is there a group of friends you HAVE to get a shot with? Maybe a large sorority/fraternity group?
